This year’s Pride Parade in LA brought thousands of Angelenos over to West Hollywood to proudly enjoy and celebrate diversity in California. EDGE has the pics!

This year’s Pride Festival featured three dance floors (Latino, Hip Hop and Underground), vendors, water rides and a main stage where a great list of performers, including Belinda Carlisle, kept the crowds rocking all weekend long.

Between the Pride festival, the Pride parade and all the Pride parties in West Hollywood, this city comes alive for Pride like no other city in the US. EDGE captured the Pride energy of West Hollywood in these pics!

Target’s sponsorship of 3 Pride groups and its support of an anti-gay politician brings up the queasy balance of the need for money to put on these now-giant celebrations and whether accepting such gifts marks tacit approval of such corporate policies.
